Goodbye Dr. Raskin, thank you for being here with us, hope you had a safe trip back. We Will Miss You!!

Thursday night was a smashing hit. Kenny's daughter Vered and her friend helped us make our own pitot. We rolled out the dough and flattened it, to be placed on the fire. When the pita was ready we chose different topings and enjoyed a 'home cooked meal'.

What a geat end to a fantasitc night, thanks to a jam with Evan (Mr. Wollis) and Steve Liss.

On Friday morning we were off on our way to hike up to the orchards located on our very own kibbutz.

On the way Yonatan encounterd a jaw bone (we're speculating that it is from a wild boar).
It was tough for some of us to make it up the steep hill and with encouragment and help from our friends we all MADE IT !!

At the fruit orchards we picked organic clementines and pamelo fruit. We learned that Aitz is tree in our other language(Hebrew). Our madrich informed us that his name Ilan is another way to say tree in Hebrew.

Ephraim our Madrich helped shlepp the fruit back down the hills to be enjoyed on Shabbbos.
