Yerushaliam

On Sunday we had our first Tiyul (trip) to Yerushaliam.

Our wonderful tour guide Naama helped us understand the story of Eretz Yisroel and the Bais Hamikdash. She explained to us that the kotel, where we are going to daven, was the outer wall surrounding the Bais Hamikdash, and is all we have left today. We made the story come alive by acting out the different characters and discussing their roles.

When we arrived we enjoyed eating yummy bagels, muffins, and apples. After benching and cleaning up after ourselves we strolled together down to the Old City.
